The Church of Jesus Christ in Kenya experiencing spiritual freedom, living out The Great Command, and fulfilling The Great Commission
Mission
To promote access and use of the Freedom In Christ discipleship course, in and through churches.
Centrality of Christ
Our identity, acceptance, security, and significance are all found in Christ, who is the ultimate revelation of God.
Freedom
We believe that we are servants of a new covenant, for the law kills, but the Spirit gives life. Grace is neither legalism nor license.
Multiplication
We offer a holistic and transferable approach to discipleship that works across every culture and denomination.
Partnership
Our desire is to walk alongside Christian leaders to help them fulfil their calling and see greater freedom in their life and ministry.
How We Work
We train believers in local churches to facilitate the course within their congregations under the authority of their own pastors.
Some of these facilitators, with the blessing of their pastors, volunteer in the Kenya Freedom In Christ national ministry to support other churches as they launch the same course.
Churches also lead the teaching of the discipleship course in schools and prisons by providing volunteers and subsidizing the cost of teaching materials.
